Im using the realtek hd audio jacks, one set of spekears is in the green jack and the other set is in the black, when i test it using the Audio manager they all work...but when i try to listen to music or anything only one set works?

Enable 3d audio, i think thats how you do it anyway, its an option in the audio control panel

Black is rear audio (L/R) and Green is front audio (L/R). You'll have to go into your audio settings and change the speaker layout (quadrophonic most likely). I use stereo surround.

I had 2 speaker sets at once working before. I assume they're both 2.1? Make sure it's set to use 4.1 in the drivers, and if you have any options like CMSS, CMSS2, Stereo Surround, set it to Stereo Surround.

that worked! thank you so much

glad to see you got it working :toast: nothing better than surround sound

yea i have logitech 2.1 and i just got companion 2's

I thought it was working but the 2 sets only work while im playing xbox connected through my computer?

Edit: Scratch that now i just cant get the sub to play haha

If you don't have an orange cable too, the sound for the sub is calculated from the green plug (front L/R). There might be a bass or sub volume control on your speakers you can try turning up.

Instead of Quadraphonic, you could also try changing it to 5.1 Stereo Surround. I don't see a 4.1 option but if you have one, choose that instead.

When I had 2 sets of speakers I had 2 subs working just fine...

I have the 2 sets working now. It sounds alright but the set that i have plugged in the black plug sound quite scratchy and bad... the 2.1 set thats in the green sounds awesome though

what happens when you plug the back set of speakers in the front and do away with the good sounding speakers?
