This is only mobile internet speeds. You have to remember our average is always going to be lower due to the insane amount of country and diverse landscape we have to cover vs say, england.

Still, to see us behind for example Egypt, is rather poor. But we are still above the global mobile average.

ever the optimist........:toast:

The US isn’t just behind in mobile internet speeds, as the report had noted that a majority of Americans average 18Mbps downloads via broadband – sitting it at 10th in the world

"Behind" is a relative term. As I noted, we are still above the global average.

We certainly could be better though. We were moving that way before the new FCC head.

Oh, and:

Costs me an arm and leg though to get this in my forest frog pond.

We're talking "average"

The reason our average is so low is because Americans live all over this nation. Even the frickin' swamps of Lousiana have residents. Obviously people out in the boonies bring the average way down.

With my network it doesn't matter if your 3 or 4g. the speed all depends what time of day you're trying to watch YouTube videos on. My network won't even do 1080p without constantly buffering after 10am
