FSP recently launched the Aurum PT series, which currently only consists of a 1200 W member with the Platinum efficiency certification. The PT-1200FM uses only Japanese caps and exploits a fully modular cabling design. FSP also says the unit to be for hardcore overclockers and gamers with multiple VGAs.

I have never given any notice before about FSP power supplies, but after reading very nice comments in all major PSU review sites about this model i changed my mind!

Now i'm anxius to read the reviews about FSP's lower wattage Aurum PT models, since i don't have any interest for >850 watt units. :D
P.S. : I like a lot Techpowerup's section about PSU's "Hold Up Time" & "Inrush Current". I think that both of these factors are critical for a PSU in order not to cause a damage to PC components after long term use ;)

FSP's are usually solid, but I think they tend to be a tad too expensive. My go to cheap PSU is not too expensive though (FSP400-60APN). :D

I went ahead and ordered one as it had a good price compared to others with the same rating, and it would be nice if you could still do a review :respect:
