Sapphire R9 270x Toxic Bios Question

Hi can you confirm this is the correct bios update for my card https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/155405/sapphire-r9270x-2048-131226 only after comparing it to my original in VBE7 the part numbers are slightly different mine ends in 4 this one ends in 8 everything else matches though.

Also this new bios say's UEFI support: NO, does that mean it will not work with UEFI motherboard's

It just means it won't support uefi which deactivates some functions like fast boot and secure boot. But if the bios is correct for the card it will work, I guess the slightly different number means that the other is the non uefi variant of that bios, but I give you no guarantees. Take precautions before you flash.

Ps. If your gpu is working correctly don't flash it, it's a useless risk. Bios is nothing to be upgraded, it's something to be changed, that's something different.

There are 3 bios listed for my card 1st is all ready installed, the 2nd has the same part number, but the 3rd has the number 8 at the end unlike the other 2 they end with the number 4. The 2nd and 3rd dont support UEFI

Also regarding the decision to update..... I know the rule if its not broke...... and to some they may agree but horizontal lines in games they show like a line of light on the top edges, so I was hoping the update may cure it
