Issues Installing Windows 7 UEFI on Samsung 950 PRO NVMe SSD

I'm not able to properly install Windows 7 in UEFI on my new Samsung 950 PRO NVMe SSD. After the initial installation process, I get the following error message:

Code:

Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation.

I had already slipstreamed the USB 3.0 drivers into the Windows 7 boot.wim and install.wim files as mentioned in a couple of tutorials I've found online and placed the Samsung NVMe Drivers for Windows 7 on a separate USB drive. Loaded the drivers during install to be able to detect the 950 PRO, continued with the installation, but when it finishes and is supposed to restart and continue with the process, I get this error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: NVM, I was just able to successfully install Windows 7 on a second attempt. LOL

Did you change anything on the second attempt or do the same thing?

I disabled fast boot and kept the USB drive with the NVMe drivers connected until it restarted to continue with the installation.

One question though, how come after installing Windows 7 in UEFI GPT, I'm left with only 240GB of free space out of the total 476GB?

Sounds like it has partitioned the drive in half. Possibly for recovery.

Slipstream the USB 3.0, xhci, intel raid, and the nvme drivers. I had the same issues as you and with everything together it went away. Make sure you slipstream them in both the installer and the windows pe.

How come this doesn't occur when installing Windows 7 normally in MBR instead of UEFI GPT?

Because Win7 pe is stupid and old and not tailored for UEFI.

Do the partitioning from win10 boot, then cancel and install win7.

How do you do that exactly?

EDIT: I have a copy of the Windows 10 ISO image, do I just simply load it up, create a New partition, restart with my Windows 7 UEFI USB, then install Windows 7?
