Up for sale today is what the title says. This is technically a part number "PFCN6800-GEAVW" by Vortex keyboards. What that means is, Vortex had little to nothing to do with it, and it was actually made by some Taiwanese keyboard specialist (KBTalking) whom has no presence in the american market and so lets Vortex brand their products and do their marketing, etc.

It's a very solid keyboard. It's full sized. It has white LEDs. It has the exceedingly rare Cherry MX green keyswitches, which are best described as a typists dream very similar to a genuine IBM Model M. They can be used as gamer switches, but they are not marketed that way. They are stiffer than normal switches, and "clicky" They are best described as a stiffer Cherry MX "blue" or a clicky "clear" switch. If you liked the Model M back in the day, you will love these IMO.

This keyboard has PBT doubleshot keycaps, which is the best plastic type around. Unfortunately they don't backlight too well near the number row, but fear not! It also includes an unused set of laser etched ABS keycaps of lesser durability that backlight flawlessly if this is a concern.

I got myself a Unicomp model M recently, and this has been sitting on the shelf since. Not because it doesn't feel a lot like a Model M, because it does, but because the weight is... wrong. It's a lighter keyboard, have no doubts there. If you're coming from a model M, you won't be able to beat a man to death with this one. But it's still built well.

It's a bit dusty and has some animal hair in the photos. This is merely from sitting on the shelf for a bit. I'll dedust it before it goes out. It's in great shape.

It's been modified from stock to have status leds in the form of the white backlights going out behing the numlock, caps lock, and scoll lock keys when they are "off." I did this mod myself and can vouch for it's quality. Unfortunately this means it's warranty is void. I will warranty it for 90 days though provided (in the words of the old Deck keyboard company) "Bigfoot doesn't step on it." ;)

Asking $75.00. That includes shipping to the whole of the USA via a flat rate Priority Mail Large box, so it'll be well protected and get there quick. That means you are really only paying like $60.00 for the keyboard... by all means a steal! If you want to pay your own shipping label, I will also sell it for $60.00 :)

Grab it while it's hot people!
