core i7 7700k 8k video

I can't play this video on my cpu it lags and 100%cpu usage.

When a download this file it run smoothly on roughly 40%cpu usage.On Microsoft edge it run in 640x360*1.25 and at chrome in 1280x720*1.25.On microsoft edge it runs but in lower resolution.

In cynebench and aida 64 tests my cpu always better than 6700k 4.5.I use gtx 1070,.I change ram(16gb 1 stick ballistick sport 2400 ddr4),cpu,psu(850w cougar haswell ready),cooling and motherboard(gigabyte aorus gaming 5) 3 days ago.Which problem?

I get 50% use on 7700K. Runs fine.

Seems to me like you can't stream it from YT. When I tried it was peaking at over 70Mbps...

Also, you are not taking advantage of dual channel memory by using one stick. I doubt thats the problem but, you want dual channel.

funny ... my 6600K give no lag when playing that file

55% use on CPU (although with AIMP3 in background with music) i also use a 1070 but my RAM is in 4x4 2800

oh wait Edge ... i tested on Chrome ...

nah, no issues in Edge either

I'm getting 10% max on my CPU and 1-2% on my GPU (also heating it up 15 degrees or so) in 8K.

Not too many people here running one stick of RAM though. That could be the problem, maybe?

I think the OP needs to explain better... I seem to gather it works when its downloaded, but, not when I am assuming he is streaming?

If i watching 8k video from youtube it lags and 100% cpu usage.I i download file it's rougly 35% cpu usage

I also wait for it to buffer but still no smooth playback.

You should try updating your driver to the latest version, if still fail try reinstalling Windows, if still fail try running dual channel, if still fail maybe another poster can tell you the solution you need as I'm out of idea

Thanks problem was in single ram chanell.

Yes it was the problem.And do you now program that shows ram loading like cpu loading,not usage.That shows usage in speeds.
