Haven't used trackir in a while, have the newest driver though... if I start trackir, then start afterburner, trackir crashes instantly. If I start afterburner first, then trackir, no issues! I actually did a 2nd windows install because of this on a 2nd partition. Same issue on the clean install, I must start trackir first, then it works fine. Just a heads up for anyone with x79 I guess..... or has anyone else seen behavior this weird?

My guess is it's RivaTuner giving you this problem. I've had plenty of problems with RivaTuner. Try uninstalling that first.

*EDIT*
RivaTuner is bundled with MSI Afterburner when you install it.
