Got a Hewlett-Packard HP 15 here that is having boot issues. I ran the HP diagnostic and ran a HD extensive test. Results came back as hard drive SMART check: passed, hard drive short DST check: failed. Is the hard drive done for?

I just ran into the same problem on an Envy 4 with the 500GB HDD and 32GB mSATA cache drive. I tried MiniTool to fix it and save the recovery partition but failed. Turns out to be bad sectors and getting worse. I know mine is done for!
