I just finish my rig and everything seem stable now. I don't know is 2500k can go to 4.2ghz, or 4.3ghz without changing anything except change the ratio. is it stable or not? i'd like to know before i'll do it. temp idle: 30, max temp with prime 95 about 56; cooler master hyper tx3 with ic diamond timming. What is the safe temp for overclocking? also, when i open cpuz, the base clock is 99.8. its not 100 like other one i watched on youtube or other site.

That's for you to find out. Overclocking includes stability testing. All CPU's are different. You have plenty of room with your temps, I personally wouldn't go over 80c.

If you want 100Mhz base clock you might want to disable spread spectrum. Many mobos give the 99.8 value, no problem there. As for the overclocking with only multi change you will have to test it for yourself how high it will go.
