Today Corsair is launching a new stunning white and gold edition of their Dominator Platinum RGB memory, which has previously only been available in black. Specced at 4000 MHz, this high-end DDR4 memory kit should be a top performer on Intel. How will it fair with AMD? Lets find out!

I was only able to squeeze --->>>34066 MHz<<<---- out of the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB on my MEG X570 ACE with the XMP default timings. For timings, the "Fast" preset proved too much. 3600 MHz CL16 was achievable, though. Not bad for a four-stick kit.

Typo ?

Sorry, but this is terrible RAM for the price if you only got 3600MHz CAS 16 on your AMD test platform.
I run 3800MHz CAS16 with cheapo Hynix CJR dies and four sticks out two "unmatched" kits.
Admittedly you have better sub-timings, but also at 200MHz lower clocks.

i got 4x8gb this same kits same latencies but regular dominator platinum...
using xmp at 4ghz i had to tweak latencies, second and third to achieve 18-19-19-19-39 @Default 1.35v with masive perf.gains from stock xmp
aida read ~59000, write ~62000, copy 57000 and latency 43ns
all that on oc'd i7 8700k @5ghz 1.32v and cache 4.7ghz
im pretty much satsfied

Fixed! thanks for the catch.

But can the RGB be disabled easily?
Preferably leave the "Dominator" lit up but disable the rest.
