The EK-QuantumX Delta TEC EVO brings further improvements to the design, most notably an even more powerful TEC plate allowing over 50 W of additional cooling power. The TEC plate is now soldered to the bottom of the water block that goes over the CPU, improving contact and transfer of cooling to the block and eventually the CPU. It is exclusively powered by the Intel Cryo Cooling Technology, a unique combination of hardware, software, and firmware designed to help unleash elite performance for gamers and overclockers.



This unique cooler is made for maximum performance and frequencies during heavy load on a single core or lighter loads across more cores. It is not made for software that does heavy synthetic load across all cores, like the Prime95 series stress tests.

With how liquid-cooling is starting to go with more radiators for looks more than what's really needed, this would be a half-meme way of eke-ing out a bit more OC (at the expense of a lot more heat) while putting all the excess rads to work.

On second thought though; this could lead to a meme-worthy dual-PC build; a tiny Intel secondary rig meant to mostly drive the TEC on an AMD primary rig. Basically taking Der8aur's proof-of-concept but putting it into those large cases that can handle two mobos at once.

LOL like they make their own software... This is all Intel IP, all EK makes is a simple CNC machined metal slab so called 'water block'.
At least Cooler Master unit looks like properly engineered product unlike this shed made looking product.
