Cherry earlier this week debuted the MX 10.0 N RGB low-profile mechanical keyboard, which brings you the convenience of a low-profile keyboard with low key travel and the lack of a need for a palm-rest; with RGB LED illumination. The keyboard uses Cherry MX Low-Profile RGB Speed switches, which enables the keyboard to have a height of just 22 mm. The keyboard features a solid matte aluminium housing, even its incline feet are made of aluminium. The keyboard's RGB illumination supports 16.8 million colors, color mapping for each individual key using the Cherry Utility software, and 8 MB of on-device storage for macros and lighting customization. The MX Low-Profile RGB keyswitch can handle 50 million keystrokes. Its electronics feature N-key rollover and anti-ghosting. The keyboard comes with both USB type-C and type-A inputs (native type-C with a C-to-A adapter), and a detachable cable. Available from late-September 2021, the Cherry MX 10.0 N RGB keyboard is priced at 149.99€.

What a boring name, they should have stuck with colors. Call this one the Starlight Switch.... oh sweet mama, now that's how you market boys! Cherry needs some marketing skills.

To be fair they do use colors : "Cherry MX Low-Profile RedGreenBlue Speed switches" :D
But more seriously, cherry is one of those companies with a very "engineer" mindset, the name of their switches is linked to mechanical characteristics. "MX Low profile speed switch" is basically a low profile "MX speed silver", Just like "MX Low profile RED" vs "MX RED"
It's not sexy, (they even had to took "silver" out to make it shorter) but at least it's clear for someone who's used to the classic switches. A new color would suggest that it's radically different beyond the low profile

It would complement my Cherry MW 8 Advanced mouse nicely... if it weren't so expensive. :(

wish they had room for a scroll wheel or dial for multimedia control, its just so much more convenient than hitting a key combo repeatedly
