The Sharkoon Skiller SGH50 is a reasonably priced analog gaming headset. It is particularly interesting because of its high sensitivity, making it easily driveable by a wide selection of sound cards, including the most basic integrated ones. It offers good overall sound quality and a downright fantastic detachable microphone.

the specified frequency range spans from 10 Hz to 40 kHz

Hmm.. On the first page in the specifications you mention:
  • Frequency Response (specified by the manufacturer): 20–40,000 Hz

It's 10 Hz, fixed it on the first page, thanks. Not that it matters much, neither is really true :)
