Hi, i have built a rig already but it's getting outdated and I was thinking it was time for a new project. I have picked out most of the parts there is just a couple things I am not sure about.

So far:
Case: NZXT Guardian 921 $94
http://www.directron.com/ntgd921b.html

Mobo: ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe/HDMI AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 780a
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131343

CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103249

HDD: (already have from old rig)
1. WD Rapter 36gb
1. Seagate 320gb

Monitor: Gateway 22" LCD monitor (from old)

Mouse: Razer Diamondback(from Old)

DVD/cd: Sony DRU-830a

Ok, this is where im not quite sure. I still need to pick out memory, graphics card and im debating on liquid cooled.

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

wait for the new phenoms to come out. That should lower c2d/q prices a little.

If you insist on AMD just wait a bit. New phenoms should drop the old 65nm's price too.

Yes I would wait. The highest end ones are coming out in January.

Gonna agree here, if your sticking AMD wait till January. Even if you wanna pick up an older 9850 or 9950 people will be selling those on the cheap on the for sale section here so they can get phenom II's.

Another thing is, what videocard you gonna be running or what price range? The 4850x2 has dropped significantly and is $309.99 on newegg then has a mail in rebate on it, as far as top end videocards go thats about as cheap and as fast as it gets.

well thats a bit pricey for me. could anyone recommend a video card for around $200 that will still pack a bit of a punch. Right now i have a radeon x1300 so im looking for a step up.
