Ok, so I got a second hard drive and it detects it in the bios and it detects it in the device manager in windows. But I can't see it in My computer. Do I have to assign a drive letter to this hard drive? I dont even know how to do that though.

If your disk is already noticed during boot in Vista but you can't see it in Explorer/My Computer: Go to Disk Manager then select the drive and right-click to see a list of commands. You should know what to do from there as the commands are right there! Vista needs to do this each time a not-previously-seen PATA or SATA drive is attached to the system. Please let us know if this works or doesn't work! :)
