Would like to know what is the upside of the new G1/4 standard. I though that the 3/8 has a better flow because is wider. Anyone changed from 3/8 to G1/4? Is it better now?

Actually last I have checked, 1/2 ID was the best flow wise. I dunno who would want 1/4 ID for tubing unless it was in a AIO cooler.

Fitting sizes are all the same, only the threads differ. A 1/2" id fitting (any id fitting) is the same regardless if g3/8 or g1/4 threads. The g3/8 or g1/4 is referring to the pitch of the thread itself, thats all :)
