Corporate greed leads to piracy. Movies first come out at ridiculous prices & come down pretty quickly. I buy some movies, and like someone above mentioned, (mostly) I get them from the library. For free.

All that aside, stealing is bad. Life isn't a movie where "Pirates" are cool. Sure, the prices of entertainment are ridiculous, but that doesn't justify stealing. Or at least, one doesn't have the moral highground there. You're essentially both being jerkoffs trying to rip people off.
Game prices I feel are fair. Think what you are paying for: equipment, rent, utilities, the salaries of all the employees who worked on the game for approximately 2 years, as well as paying for the entertainment value, and quite possibly the use of an original idea. Voice actors, more and more being well-known actors, also deserve to be paid for their time.

Whether the employees existed on Ramen noodles for two years in a studio without a publisher, or a publisher paid them a salary, that money is deserved from the consumer purchasing the game.
