I'll never understand why people risk this. Especially with the latest 3000 cards, it's going to be a great card, don't mess with it.

With my 1080, i flashed it to an official, slightly higher clocked one (MSI gaming X to gaming Z) and thats about as far as i'd go with high end hardware. Its possible people can flash between various 30 series models as well, but i would not want to be the initial tester of that.
Even something 'simple' like the FE cards has very different PCB to AIB ones, so it may be a lot trickier to do this gen.
