Hi,
I never tell mods what to do
Crypo came up when someone said it's going to crash and so it went a few posts further

But the fact is we wouldn't be seeing high prices on gpu's if crypo mining wasn't effecting availability so a 3060 at 500 well I guess it could be worse usually price doubles msrp so that would be 660.us so at 500.us seller is feeling the coin drop in value a little.

High cost 500 is the reason people voted no or nay. overwhelmingly on the poll atm
Not sure how we can separate the two in a simple no vote without explaining the vote but I think the point was thoroughly explained by now so at least the op understands why we voted as we did.

this is my thinking Ive £700 and want a 3070 at the mo i can get one for that in the uk but if i wait a bit say Nov time ill be able to get a Ti or even a 3080 call me daft but me 1080s still running fine and i dont mind waiting.

Making crypto as an example or reason is fine, but when 1/3 of the whole thread becomes about crypto it becomes a threadjack so let's stay on topic-my last post on here

I paid 500 pounds for a RTX 2060 purely because I could spread the cost but also the fact that my R9 280x can't run modern games no more natively at 170hz 1440p.
The RTX 2060 has been a very worthy upgrade for me and 1440p is comfortable on this card.

Even runs Metro enhanced with full RTX on with DLSS at very acceptable FPS on 1440p.
