Hi all. Any ideas what might be causing these strange voltage drops in fortnite? I have a lot of frame drops when it happens. Thanks

I'm running it with at 4k with a Gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC, 10700K @ 5ghz and 32gb 3200 Ram.

I think the drops are not the cause of the framedrops but a result.

If something stops the game from rendering frames, the GPU will think it's idle and reduce frequency and voltage

Looking at PerfCap reason supports that theory: grey = idle
"pwr" at all times while gaming is normal for all modern nvidia cards

Thanks. Yes I think you are right. It is infuriating because everything else seems to run absolutely flawlessly. I don't understand why I keep getting drops from 160 ish fps to 10/30 for a split second then back to normal. It's very strange and annoying. On some of the dips I do get vrel and vref come up as you can see from this screen shot.
