3870 + 4870?

I am, and I was hoping that would be taken more lighthearted. Course that does mean I will have to spend more $ to get a 3rd card since my 3870x2 and 4850 would be in CF, unless I got a 4870, then the 4850 would be the back up.

Yeah, I've just ordered 2 4850s (love those single slot cards) and have 3 3870s now (guess I'm gonna sell them). Has anyone tried in Vista?

i just want to confirm, crossfire is a no go with a 3870x2 and a 4850. i tried it on vista 64bit with an asus 3870x2 and an asus 4850. both cards are recognized in device manager and that's it. no crossfire in CCC. i think if amd enable crossfire between 3000 series and 4000 series, the performance might not be good. hopefully i can sell my 3870x2 and get another 4870.

Pairing up 3870 + 4850?!?!

Do you guys think it's possible to pair up one 3870 and one 4850 card?

Also how do you think the pricing of 3800 series cards is going to do in the next couple of months? Do you think that the value of US$ will drop in the next few months, hence reducing the price of the 3800 series cards?
