What can you expect of them? A lot of heat, a lot of power consumption and performance sub-par to your GTX480.

For $15??? thats a win no matter what performance you get from them far as im concerned. They will play any game out there with out to much issues at medium to high settings i would think.

You got a steel there bud.

Yep that sounds about right, you got yourself some money sitting right there if you ever wanted to make a quick buck ;)

That he is, i almost bought one of these on ebay a few months back for the back up rig, but i found a HIS 4870 1GB for $60 instead.

In quadfire with the latest drivers these might perform better than people are expecting.

well you will want i7 just for the driver overhead and proper scaling lol but overall should be pretty interesting to see what kind of performance they can give in quadfire on modern games

you should set the rig up and bench it on some games.

You ovbiously don't know Freaksavior. You may not know that he A) overclocks AMD chips and B) has a passion for out of date hardware.

I remember his 7900GTX thread and his DDR1 overclocking with something like 3V on the ram to get 500MHz. :)
