Recently got an R9 390X Tri-X off ebay to add a Hawaii card to the collection. It started power throttling (I think, it definitely wasn't thermal) in Superposition, so I attempted to raise the power limit with Sapphire Trixx since it's a Sapphire card. Upon moving the slider, it started artifacting something fierce, visually similar to my HD 6950 when it's overclocked with 2 displays attached. The same behavior applies to any frequency changes. It can be stopped by restarting the graphics driver. Afterburner has no such affliction. It has had the issue with both HDMI and DP displays. The card is otherwise perfectly fine, even overclocks in line with 390X reviews via Afterburner. Should I pursue a partial refund from the seller, or is this normal behavior with Sapphire Trixx on Hawaii cards?
