Its defo a gfx thing, cpu score is fine. But I am beating the HDR and SM test with a single core 3870. So it sounds like only one core is working on yours. Like trog says, we need to see what both cores r doing. I think you need to run rivatuner twice but choose a different core each time you clikc on the graphs. Good luck!!!

u need to run the test twice.. click on the little arrow where it lists your card in rivatuner.. select the second one down in the list to get the other core/card..

now my info is based on two seperate cards in crossfire.. i am assuming rivatuner will see each core as a seperate card.. but i could be wrong.. i dont have x 2 to make sure..

running the furbench is good way of seeing that u have the other core showing.. furbench only uses one core the other stays in 2 d mode and dosnt do any thing..

u have to select the other core before u run the second test.. it will only record one core at once.. which is a shame.. he he

Im not sure how furbench works with the x2 i got conflicts i used it when i first got my x2 and it kept crashing my pc but maybe its been updated now.

3dmark?? I am kinda curios of these things myself, in the past when I had dual video cards it always been a matter of one run, and my scores were right.... Im confused, your input is greatly appreciated

u only have to run the test twice to get two result in rivatuner.. one for each core..

with normal crossfire the furbench runs okay but only runs one card.. its not coded to use two cards/gpus.. running the test twice with the furbench once with each core selected would show one call working 100% the other still in 2 d mode showing 0%..

in 2006 just running the battle of proxycon game test both cores should read the same if both cores are working.. 2006 is coded to run both cores..

here is how to select which core is being monitored in rivatuner.. clicking on the second one down should show the second core.. the one at the top the first core..

again i am assuming the x 2 card will be similar to normal crossfire as regards the ability to monitor each core separately.. i could be wrong..

there is a difference in temps.... wouldn't that show its two separate cores??

AND the usage is different on the cores - both the graphs are different

possibly.. with mine its easy to tell i have two different memory speeds.. with yours its not so easy..

but a quick look thru freaks thread here will tell anybody what score u should be getting.. yours is just too close to a single card score with a similar cpu and card speed..

yah, thats the bummer about it...... something is not working right, if all else fails, you could always call the manufacter for there input, maybe its a problem thats known to the companies...??? IDK, Im just thinking out loud(typing)

thx il try in a couple days hehe..im tiered of tweaking at the mo emm...need to do some work for college just wondering how do i save my fan speed in rivatuner...so it starts off like that in reboot
