That is just about right for a 7600GT. Look here for a good site that lets you compare different cards and gives you an example of a 3Dmark score for most of them. Obviously you can overclock if you want to go higher.

thats not bad my stock score on 3dmark05 was 6147 with my 7600gt but that could be because of my cpu,my highest 05 so far is 7489 that with the vmod and overclocking core to 660mhz and memory 1700mhz but that a really good start good luck:toast:

I just ran 3DMark05 & 3DMark06 yesterday.
The scores are:::
05=9931
06=4779

I don't know if this is a good score or not.

IMO::You would do better if you purchased a matched pair of memory sticks.
PC400 or DDR3200 in 2x512mb or 2x1gb sticks.

Well the 05 score seems fine, maybe should be a little higher but the 06 score is 1000 or so lower than I would expect.

1950pro would score better with your cpu overclocked some.

It usually does 10k with most of the bottle neck dead.

I normally do not OC my system.
I have at times just to run benchs.
The scores I have posted are straight default on the cpu and vid card.

I did run
3DMark2001se and scored 30,377
3DMark03=13987

that's fine, but if you got a matched pair of ram, like someone mentioned above, that would help alot

i think that you struck a very nice price/performance ratio with your build, :toast:
