Matches my "golden" R7 1800X. Mind you it needed more than stock cooling.

Nice. :)

1.48 on the stock Wraith Spire, new aftermarket coming in the next few days so hoping I can make 4ghz @1.45 (ish) when that comes, still 4.1ghz on a 1600 with stock cooling is pretty damn good even if I did think it might cook

Not really as my 4.1 run was 463, but they are very linear the Ryzens :)

takes about 1.47 for 4.0/4.1..... keep pushing ;)

cant on the 8 core... temps skyrocket due to some thermal wall, everything from an air cooler to the h115i sits at the same 75C (higher temps and it hard locks)

I think it's more a Ryzen issue, 4/6/8 core you're lucky if you can get to 4ghz and anything above is a lottery, very little overclocking headroom, looks like 4.3/4.4 might be the wall for the Ryzen 2000 refresh going off the leaked 2700x boost clocks.... 4.4 will be like the 4.1 OC headroom this time around, Ryzen 2 however..... 7nm and 40% ipc improvements..... :twitch:

Done on a lowly Asrock AB350m btw :)
