I see during post that my Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 400mhz memory in my Asus A8N-E Mobo is running at 333mhz.
(At least it's reading dual channel)

What's up with that? Is there a voltage adjustment I can make in Bios for that?

How do I get the speed I paid for out of these chips?

Go into the BIOS and see if you can't force it to run at DDR400, but you'll have to enable 2T timings since your running 4x 512mb of RAM.

what are 2t timings and how do I enable it?
Besides the post, is there another way to verify what speed they are running at?

DOH!!! I reread the manual and it says "DIMM modules with 128mb memory chips or double-sided X16 memory chips are nor supported in this motherboard"

What it actually said in post was DDR333 DUAL Channel 128MB.

Looks like I am screwed and will need to replace my RAM.
Should never had believed the Corsair website when it said this memory was compatible.
(Well I guess "technically" it is compatible. Just not able to run at full specs in my board.

No, your RAM is fine. 2T will also be called CPC in the BIOS. I believe you just have to disable that, then make sure your RAM is running at DDR400. Should be some sort of divider options in the BIOS, just make sure it says something like 1/1 or 1:1 or it might just say DDR400

Thanks for your quick response.
Where should I look in the bios? I'll look right now.
From Asus website "To be more compatible and stable with some memory modules, the default clock will be at 333MHz if four DDR400 memory modules are plugged on the A8N-SLI. (should be same as A8N-e) But you still can set at 400MHz manually in the Bios to gain better performance."

Yep, on the 130nm A64s, they were only rated to do DDR333 with 4x double sides sticks. Probably just a safety precaution would be my guess, even though you have a 90nm core.

In the BIOS, I'm not really sure where it would be...might be under "Chip Setup" Although I'm not sure. My newest ASUS board is for Athlon XPs lol

That was so cool. I Checked The Bios.
ADVANCED>DRAM CONFIGURATION and it was set to auto select DDR333.
I changed it to manual and then the previously grayed out options became available.
One of the choices was DDR400. (I didn't change anything else)
I rebooted and ..... Voila!! The was my DDR400 in post.
You made my day!! http://forums.techpowerup.com/images/smilies/respect.gif
:respect:
One last question, the 1T/2T memory timing was still set to 2T. Is that OK?
