Damn, those are good prices, especially if it can compete with the 3870.

Wow, you guys got nice prices there.

Cheapest is around £56 here in the UK although only available from two e-tailers at the moment.

It doesn't. It competes with 3850. No big OC headroom neither, 10% according to Wizzard. So even OCed it still needs another 10% to reach 3870's levels.

But still a good price even if it only competes with the 3850. Should drive the 3850 price down a good ways.

IMO the 3850 still holds a better value at that price point, unless size and requiring an aditional 6-pin power connector is an issue for you.

Also 3870 and 9600GT are so close in price...

For example that one smokes the HD4670.
No, they still have to come down in price quite a bit before being a good deal IMHO, and they will.

I dunno man, the reviews that W1z posted of the Powercolor 4670 show it to be right there with the 3870 and above it in some cases. The 8800GS is probably still the best buy out there, but this one could catch it soon.

Well it depends on the game and the settings, but overall the 3870 is quite a bit faster. Even the 3850 is most of the times faster, but suddenly on one game the 4670 is much faster than both and makes up for a similar overall value as the 3850. It's kind of too inconsistent for my taste, you never know how it could behave on new games. I think the same about the GS/GSO, I usually prefer more stable/balanced cards, you know what to expect. But that's my opinion, of course.

This damn little card has me wanting 2 .

Like i said, Graphic Cards are like women , you can never be satisfied with 1 .

But then again, i think the 128-bit interface worries me the most. Newer games may not perform as good.
