4770k delid?

    im commiting to an OC new build, found a decent mobo half price open box..
    and was wondering if I should plan on de-lidding the new 4770k I will be getting
    I see lots of talk about this subject and I'll be water cooling and shooting for some nice high figures..

    if its a chip "k" able to oc, would not it be reasonable to expect a fix from intel.. right
