you will also benefit from atleast 8gb of ddr2 800. I am running a 1090t in my main rig with 16gb of ddr3 with cf'd 6850's and it games like butter. I also have my 1090t clocked at 3.6.

On the contrary alcohol is easy to get (esp the hotels) and probably served there (at the bases).

Im getting the 1090T tomorrow. Then I will put up some DDR2 Phenom II X6 benchmarks :D compared to the Phenom 9850
if they are like the rest of the Muslim World they wont- plus SOFAs have to be abided by.

Any recommended benchmarks to see the 9850 -> 1090T difference? (ie the CPU limiting the 6850)

Ive taken Sleeping dogs (high and lowest resolution), HAWX 2 (H/L), 3D Mark11 and PCMark7 atm with the 9850.

Well here are the results:

9850 vs 1090T
All stock speeds

3DMark11 Score (9850 / 1090T) = 3026 / 3342
PCMark07 Score (9850 / 1090T) = 2053 / 2445

Sleeping Dogs = 31.3fps / 31.6fps

HAWX 2 (High) = 73fps / 91fps
HAWX 2 (Low) = 105fps / 163fps

Forgot 9850 with lowest settings on Sleeping Dogs :(

he probly has vsync either forced in the drivers or enabled in game hence the 30FPS lock
the DDR2 motherboard isn't helping either the hawx benchmark looks pretty much spot on considering the hardware

Strange Sleeping dogs being stuck at 31 fps.
And this is without Vsync?
I noticed V-sync causing issues for HAWX 2 (was weird because benchmarks should automatically disable that setting) keeping the rates at 60fps.

Then I started to turn it off in all other games. For Sleeping Dogs, I made sure it was off for the 1090T run and the results for overall/avg frame rate was the same. But even the highest/lowest frame rate difference between the two processor benchmarks isnt big. Vsync shouldnt apply for the highest frame rate.

I ran the test again (with 800Mhz DDR2 speeds, prev results were on 667) and got the same 30fps result. Ran on normal settings and got a score of 59fps.

I believe its a graphics card that is maxing out.
