It's here.
My new 4890 as finally arrived.
I was expecting it only tomorrow or at most thursday. My wife called me from work and asked me if i had fetch my box at the post office. What! NO. Where??
I was unaware of the postal pickup card on her desk. So i went to get it and just came back.
I ordered the MSI R4890-T2D1G last week. I opened the shipping box to make sure of it's content and was happy to see my purchase.
But what's this??? There's a small sticker on the right bottom part of the box that say's "OC edition".
I open it to get that big card out, remove the static bag and take a closer viual inspection. Mmmm...
Indead The model number sticker behind the card confirms what the sticker on the box says.
Instead of getting the regular MSI R4890-T2D1G, The online store messed up and sent me the R4890-T2D1G-OC.
The OC edition is 880MHz Core and 3996MHz Memory. NEAT!
I already posted my 4870 for sale here earlier since my colleague at work declined my offer. His loss!
The worst part is that he only needs a new PSU and a Video card to power up his new rig.
