4GB is for spares for my crunchers but it's still 30% off on 1 set ($17.49 w/free shipping) so still not bad

I am running 1600 mhz memory in 2 of my Phenom systems without issue. It's just clocked down to 1333

I have this memory in tri channel for my 920. I run it exactly at 1600 9-9-9-24 1.5v as the specs page lists. I tried going to 8-8-8-24 and it worked, but I was getting some quirky issues and went back to 9-9-9-24 (didn't really test it). Not too much to be excited about, it's just memory... DDR3 is already so fast it doesn't really matter.

If you're in to super high performance cooling, you may not like these. The heatspreaders seem to be thin sheets of sheet metal stuck on with thermal tape. Mostly for looks, I guess... no real heat dissipation there.

DRAM Prices Expected to Rise, not by huge amounts, but RAM hit its basement earlier this year- it is only going to get more expensive.

Mine shipped from CA, 2-3 days for me although UPS is more than capable of screwing that up- hopefully yours comes out of NJ.

Looks like Newegg has pulled the 2+ pricing now on the RAM, so 8gb @ $25.19 is no more.

Don't get me wrong - those 1866 are nice sticks, but they're too much for the kids' rig. Hell, they don't need half of what's in there. Most of it's for my benefit
