I'd stay away from the budget Msi boards below the Unify their vrm are complete trash if you never plan on going above a 6-8 cores its fine if a bit overpriced. . Otherwise a very solid looking build.

oh and yeah wait for the XT cpu do drop... Worst case you get a non XT chip for cheaper and there should also be much better B550 baords for less money than the Pro carbon @tosbah

I agree. This is a terrible time to build a PC. While it's true that there's always something new coming out, it doesn't happen often that there are major quasi-simultaneous CPU and GPU launches less than 4 months away. Even if the new stuff is not in the budget it should make the prices of current items cheaper. Something else to consider is part availability. Some parts (PSUs/Cases/Fans) in short supply, so selection is limited, and you're unlikely to find a good deal. If a person doesn't have to build something now I'd strongly recommend against it.

As for the parts:

- an RGB NVMe isn't necessary on that board because the shield on the board will be covering it.

- unless you've actually used a curved monitor and know that's what you want I'd either recommend against it, or recommend you try to see one in person first. The viewing angles are pretty terrible.

- an x570 motherboard is overpriced for your use case. PCIe gen 4 NVMe has ZERO (fractions of seconds) effect on gaming vs gen3 and even SSD. A lot of money can be saved by going with x470 or b550.
