5700XT at 1080P will easily last a good 3 years.
1440P onwards i am unsure.

As long as you get a decent one with Freesync support it will definitely be worth it over a 60hz monitor.

Benchmark Scores A LOT
Even at 144 fps
no it can't do 144 now

a realistic goal for 5700xt +r5 3600 at 1080p is 100 fps.144 fps would require a lot more juice, something like 10600kf + 2080S to come close to achieving 144 fps across the board.
you should be good for +60 fps for the next 3 years but hard to say.and this card won't do "max settings" in future/current games since no RT is supported.
but for games like CoD,yeah, you'll be hitting +120 fps easily in MP mode, they're easy to run.

144fps for current games yes, future titles at 144fps is anyones guesses.
1440p 60fps should be easily achievable if you play around some settings.
Dropping down to 1080p can do 144fps again depending on titles

I don't think it can pull 144FPS max details and above for all current games at 1440p. Not even 2080 Ti can do that in certain titles and its the fastest graphics card there is. More likely 1080p for the 5700XT 144FPS and up.

hard to do at 1080p if you analyze tpu's review.out of 20 something games only a handful do +140 fps at max settings.
well,no-rt max settings.

144FPS is a pipe dream, you have to be much more realistic and take advantage of it in games where it matters, competitive and fast action orientated games.

Yes of course but you can dial something down a bit that will boost the FPS without losing too much of the visual. Of course if there's a game that you max out full details 80FPS 1440p then it is pointless to dial down the details anyway you will lose too much of visual effects and still you wont achieve 144FPS.

Sure but you have to do it in the game and check what the impact is on the performance and the visuals to see if you get what you want.

See average range of 60-90 fps depending how demanding the games are at 1440p and settings you're using, pretty much what i'm getting in most games at mix of high-max settings at 1440p.

Not all people have that option you know :) even if you buy the best you still may not get 144FPS 1440p in all the games. Considering games that can actually benefit from 144FPS.

Sure but I'm talking more about the gameplay with fast action. I don't need 144FPS in Civilization or Xcom for example but maybe someone has a different taste.
