My Stable settings as above,

+25MHZ Boost Override
PPT 200 TDC 95 EDC 120 Yes im well aware 142 is max PPT for the cpu just gave it headroom but it hits EDC limit before then just haven't changed it in bios yet.
CO Optimized using 1usmus HYDRA 1.3A Per Core Optimizer (It appears to be very accurate) my CPU is Rev0 so one of the first batch seems to be pretty crap silicone i cant get above 25mhz Boost and deffo nowhere near -30 cores without instability.
I'm pretty happy with where im at with it right now i don't think i can get much more out of the CPU due to silicone lottery. Memory wise im running G.Skill Trident Z Neo's 32GB @ 3600mhz 14-15-15-15-35 (B-Die) Voltages are at SOC 1.125, VDDP 1.050, VDDG 0.950 (both IOD,CCD) iv ran these settings for a while now played countless hours of games with no instability including doing OCCT Stress Test, Cinebench 1 hour loop) Prime 95 6 hours, 3D Mark SpeedWay Stress test.

Hope it will help others. & Let me know your thoughts i recommend checking out 1usmus HYRDA though its shaping up to be an amazing tool for AMD Overclocking :)
I have a late-one, from 2022, according to the familiar-with-electronics 4-digit code. The first two of course, being the last two digits of the year. Is yours from '20 or early-'21?

I think I have told on occasion that PPT has to be 10% higher than EDC which is what you have done.

effective clocks are more a mesurement of LOAD. it is relatively useless for detecting clock streching

quote from Robert Hallock: Former AMD Technical marketing director
There are different ways to approximate it, but at a basic level you take the clockspeeds seen during active use over X sample period, then average it against the time spent in any one of the low-power sleep states. The result of that is conveyed as MHz because that's what most people know or understand and is easy to show as one figure in a UI, but it could just as easily be shown as two values: average frequency while active, and % time sleeping.
And just to put a fine point on it: while we don't want to probe the core itself for activity and wake it, other aspects of the CPU are still awake (e.g. SoC fabric) that control and report the cores' current power state. You can ask the CPU firmware what state the cores are in without waking the cores themselves.
In the case of Ryzen specifically, we have the Infinity Fabric that connects all aspects of the chip together. It acts like an air traffic controller or a central command unit, facilitating the movement of data/telemetry/control signals around the chip. When you probe for temperature, frequency, sleep state and the like, you're talking to our fabric.
They're another tool to use in finding out whats going on (and yes, only at load) - one of several (and this is why HWinfo is great, showing all of em at once)

don't use vcore offsets
use the edc/tdc to limit voltage
more edc/tdc doesn't give you more performance just more heat

if your chip will do -30 all core co try like 142/90/110
negative boost clock override lowers max clock you want +50 for 4900Mhz max or just leave it on auto

Lately I run a small window of heaven benchmark or kombuster while stressing the CPU to get some heat from the GPU and to just give it some variety to potentially crash it if unstable.

I know old reply, post, you can do that in aida64 stability test

dont do both together, it works on the x3D because they're weird CPU's but doing this on a regular chip will either be really unstable at low loads/idle, or your effective clocks will drop massively under load

165W is high - just try PPT@120W TDC@85 EDC@130 and begin from 25 all cores - No need underclocking -50mhz.

Temps wasn't higher than 79c and alot of cores boosted til 4.9ghz, vcore offset var 0.500 and co was -30, occt setting is stock setting.

It's stable but temps at low usage can be in the mid 50's, which isn't close to it's limited but more than i like at low usage

I need to go next level in cooling

For water cooling go to ARCTIC FREEZER II.
Best AIO for 5800X and cpu's with high temps.

to be clear, even after lapping mine and going custom water, my 5800x temps barely changed from a 120mm dark rock slim (And it's back on that air cooler again, now)

These CPU's all have a limit they just cant be cooled past - heat density and the internal solder under the IHS are the limit we cant bypass, and how good that solder is varies per CPU
(and then board inaccuracies get involved, my gigabyte x370 clocks higher than my asus B450 and x570 did, but it's also a good 10% less accurate on power draw/PPT readings - so it runs hotter, too)

Personally i think it's amazing my hyper 212 evo v2 can beat a noctua nh-u12a, i just wanna improve things a little

I think a twice as big cooler can get me better temps, just don't know by how much, i just don't wanna take my mb out every time i wnat to change thermal paste or clean the fans. My scythe fuma 2 is good but not super good, might be better then the hyper 212 evo v2, it's got some high pitched noise where i have to buy a new fan if im gonna use it and the fan are not stock any where so i can get one within 1-2 days, the same goes for the fuma 2 rev b (a litte expensive to buy for only +300 rpm , a very little diffrence that might only be noticeable at max load)

Fuma 2 can be mounted with the fan on the tower with makes it very easy to mount, the fan clips on the hyper 212 evo v2 also makes it very easy to mout since there isn't any holes to find, use,are a challenging to mount fan clip on

Her are my results which are pretty good PPT: 120 - TDC: 85 - EDC: 130 - FIT SCALAR X1 - NO BOOST +50MHZ vcore offset 0.500 volt, curve optimizer -30

it cant, unless somethings really wrong with how the noctuas setup
The baseplate alone on that heatsink makes it clear it's going to be terrible on AM4 and AM5 cpus, half-contact of two heatpipes at best with uneven gaps right over the CPU dies? ouch

Not bad ran your settings on my rig, Curios though what Rev/stepping is your CPU? (Shown in CPU-Z) Pretty certain the silicone in my chip is pretty crap due to been Rev0 first batch.

Here my last test with pics. My Pc working perfect 8 months now with Undervolting PerCore (Undervolting All cores not stable in games)
I found the best Curve Negative mVolt of Cores with CoreCycler program and used OCCT for final stabilitation 1hour test. I Spent many many hours for this shit.
Now testing the new Asus Bios 3001 (Beta with the new AGESA version 1208 who fix some problems). Atm all going perfect with this Beta Bios without any problem and waiting the Stable Bios version.
So......in my pics have some new test with Default 5800X by BIOS and with my Undervolting configs.

Here my Best Config on ASUS and SPECS
UnderVolt per Cores by Advance Tab (Not AI Tweaker - Dont Touch anything except F-MAX Enh: Select Disable
PPT: 120W - TDC: 85V - EDC: 130V - FIT SCALAR: X1 or Auto (Better Auto) - FMax Enh by Asus Bios: DISABLE (IMPORTANT)
Dont boost the CPU with more MHZ like +50/150 or 200MHZ bcs need more Power (PPT) Like 125W without any reason. The games playing better without OC without freeze and the temps is really LOW for this CPU.

I hope to HELP!
**and sorry with my bad english**
