Hello. Like we know 3dmark was updated to Fire strike stress test mode. I bench using Fire Strike stress test ULTRA on my 980 Ti Gaming Xtreme and 6700k on stock. Result are normal.

My screen, take a look on cpu frequency ( 4 to 4,2 ghz ):

But cpu frequency during test is drifting between 4-4,2 ghz i dont know why. Is this normal?

Somebody make test Fire Strike Stress test and he get stable 4,2 ghz.

Any ideas why i have different clock rating during test? ( 4.0 - 4.2 or 4.2 to 4.0 ).

Simple BIOS setting to force all cores to 4.2 GHz. Yours is correct for "stock" 6700K, your linked compare is not "stock".

It is not suggested to compare scores or results like this from different motherboard or even same motherboard with different BIOS. We need information to show BIOS settings in order to confirm same settings on both machines.

its not thermal throttling?

Check your CPU temps , let realtemp run in the background during the test, afterwards check the maximum temps.

Temps during test 55C. So why i have 4-4.2-4 ghz drifting clock?

This is normal if you didn't lock the core speed in the Bios .

Temps during test 55C. So why i have 4-4.2-4 ghz drifting clock?
You CPU only supports 4.2 GHz on one core, unless you overclock the CPU. Chances are, the CPU is changing which core is at 4.2 GHz, and the Futuremark tool is only monitoring one core, not all cores.

Download CPU-Z, load the CPU, right-click the CPU frequency part, and you'll see that the core @ 4.2 GHz changes.

Some motherboards force 4.2 GHz on all cores when XMP is enabled. However, I see nothing wrong at all with your system.

Yes, or the BOS changed it for him without him knowing.
