Ironically I bought these a week ago before I found the coupon, and one arrived DOA. I'm sure it's not wildly common, and newegg is fair about their replacement policy.

I just got mine in and running, and these are great sticks.

Got 1072Mhz 4-4-4-12-24 2T @ 2.4V, straight out of the box.

Also found that these are actually DDR2-1000 sticks, according to the spd.

Running them at 1104 5-5-5-15-24 2T @2.3V, as I type this. More testing to come.

OK, quick update ladies and gents. This stuff has to be the purchase of the year. How does 1200Mhz CAS5 and 800MHz CAS3 @ 2.3v sound to you guys? Might have been able to go higher, but I hit the limits of my cpu before I hit the limits of the ram. Forgot to grab a screen of CAS3, tho, and I already downclocked to normal.

Don't know, my board only does 2.0 or 2.1. Only has .1v steps, no .05v steps.

Yeah they make very good ram I wish I can say $70 lol but I got my ram when it was PC2 8000 $304.99 :ohwell:

now its PC2 8500 $204.99

But the Tracer PC2 8000 is $310.99 :wtf:

And the Tracer PC 2 8500 $179.99 :nutkick:

What did you use to see if your ram was stable cuz ORTHOS on Blend would that be enough to check ?

I ran Orthos on blend for a few minutes, but they were getting a bit warm for my liking(thus my RAM fan thread). It was just a quicky test. I'll play more when I have better cooling on them, then I'll likely run memtest to test them. It looks promising tho. The highest I could get my G.Skill into Windows with was 1120Mhz, regardless of voltage.

I'm running them @ 857Mhz 4-4-3-5 2.1V, just like my old G.Skills for now.

Yeah, but how much did they cost? lol

You also have to realize that 1200Mhz put me at my cpu's limits. (A little past, in fact) So I just quit while I was ahead. lol
