before you guys write "reinstall the driver"..
the card was tested in now the 4th PC, Blank windows 10 installation, different Platforms (AM4 (X570), Z490, Z590, AM4 (B550))

in the first three Weeks my 6900xt ran 100% Stable at 2700 mhz (benched Timespy, Firestrike, Port Royal and i played almost (mixed) 200 Hours! of valheim, Battlefield, RB6, WoW, NFS Heat and other games)

The Cards ran every application for an indefinite amount of time.

Now after 3 weeks i had non stop crashes in a bunch of games (but not all)

10 Mhz Down. everything is completely stable (Timespy loops, the games that crashed and superposition just fine.)
when i bump it up again by 10Mhz everything is unstable.

Now that repeats every few days and now i am almost at my Stock speeds.

50Mhz less than at day one does not even run CS:GO anymore. and i have to go 70 Mhz below the (First three Weeks for 200 Hours of load stable) Clock Speed.

Today i am sitting at just 30 Mhz above Stock (that's 160 Mhz below the once stable OC)

And now the reason why i post this..
Since today the card is not even stable at stock speeds anymore (blank, fresh installed windows 10 on two different machines with two different PSUs)

going into wattman and clicking on "reset" and running the card at stock speeds crashes in a few games and i have to drop clocks by around 20Mhz below Stock.

This is ridiculous... but i don't understand how a Card can degrade within a month from +200 Mhz above Stock to -20 below stock.

You most likely have cooked it with Furmark running overnight at 2700. It wouldn't be the first time it's killed a GPU.

Furmark is not your friend.

i never ran furmark at all.

Well that changes things. I would try to confirm stability in a second machine if possible before RMA.

The only other thing that sticks out in your system specs is your PSU in that it could be a power draw issue. Try to pinpoint whether its a gpu issue or possibly a power issue. You've got a 330w+ cpu and a 350w gpu which doesn't count anything else that draws power in your setup. If the card is stable in a second rig, then it's likely the psu. Between the two I'd rather replace the psu so cross your fingers.

Your overclocking results may vary, and pushing a card too far can degrade it's performance. Sounds like you pushed things a little too hard?

Well when the card can't run stock clock it's time for RMA, or you can send it to Buildzoid to investigate how that happen I guess.

This is a genuine fear of mine with a current-gen card, RMA but they have no stock to give you a replacement... yikes.

What ?, why should they replace it ?, if he overclocked the crap out of it then there is only one to blame. Shit like this is why XFX don't do lifetime warranty's any longer.

I am still confused as to whether the OP ran FurMark or not on their card..... it appears the original post has been edited. FurMark can wreck cards at stock not to mention OC'd.

probably realized replies would point out the fault of using it, & edited the post.

regardless, this type of manic benchmarking is bound to end with nothing good. theres no sense to all that benchmarking & stress testing. if you push a component as hard as you can, as much as you can, eventually its going to quit. its pointless, especially when youre running higher end gear

this is like a guy spinning his tires all the time, every stop light, burning out, then wondering what happened when he blows gaskets, & shreds his tires.
if thats what a person enjoys, thats fine, but hardware damage comes with the territory eventually.

That's why when I'd gotten my GPU, I'd OC'ed it and benchmarked it, and after I was done, I left it at stock speed with a little UV.

Nothing bad has happened, runs solid. Peeps who do all these crazy OCs and volt mods and whatnot, not saying the OP did this, but running a stressful benchmark like Furmark overnight isn't exactly ideal. They kill their cards and then blame the card makers, that's just bad form.

Fyi, I've had my 6900XT for about 2 months now, spend about 3-4 hours on games each day with 2-3 hours in addition to that surfing and media consumption. My 6900 XT is running perfectly fine.

For context, 3 weeks is equal to 504 hours. So the OP spent more than 40% of that time using the GPU intensively..., basically 9.6hrs every day, uh, u do sleep right? lol how u have so much time for that much gaming in 3 weeks

If OP didn't modify his card physically I think XFX is liable to replace his card. Whatever OP was doing, it would only accelerate a fault in the design that are meant to fail later on, and it's XFX's fault.

You've no idea what you're talking about. You can't overclock these cards to death. These cards have a hard bios limiter and plenty of protections. It will run at its max tdp all day long as IT WAS DESIGNED TO.

Hang on guys, when did overclocking and using the hardware become this controversial thing? This kind of degradation sounds terrible.

Yea, it's bizarre contrarian mindset. These cards will not go into a nuclear meltdown. TPU showed below that furmark power draw was actually lower than peak gaming power draw, lmao. And even compared to the averaged gaming power draw vs furmark, furmark was only 15w higher.

GPU's cant die from overclocking just the freqeuncies via software - they're so locked down with BIOS limits they're impossible to kill via software

Normally i'd say replace the thermal paste and thermal pads, but its so new just RMA the damn thing for being unstable at stock

No way it degraded, something else happened. I suspect it's PSU related, 6900XT's power consumption spikes very hard.

If OP didn't modify his card physically I think XFX is liable to replace his card. Whatever OP was doing, it would only accelerate a fault in the design that are meant to fail later on, and it's XFX's fault.

I think they will, how ever personally if i was pushing one to the max i blame my self and not the card.

If he decides to take it apart though he needs to get in touch with XFX with his issue and ask them if he can try it just to see if it solves the problem.

If he just takes it apart and it don't work or has same issue and then contact them and they say just send it in they don't have to fix\replace it as the seals will of been broken and did not ask them first.

I have had no issue's over a very long time with them over some 10 years now.

Ah yes, the "proverbial" AMD quality strikes again one might say... My condolences to the OP but their recent products really aren't fit to be pushed hard over extended periods as shown numerous times ever since Zen2 & Navi landed back in 2019.
