6950 2GB Freezes during Rift gameplay

I made sure to downlaod the ladest driver package from ATI Ver.11 but still getting freezes and even a couple crashes. I was thinking about Crossfire but not if I have a problem on my first ATI card.

The thing is rift itself is quite problematic at lease during beta.
That game is quite poorly coded in regards to its graphics engine.

Edit: Just looked up you PSU, the Apevia Warlock Power 900W isn't great at all.
May be you should try another PSU.

It's most likely server issues. Everyone is experiencing this right now, so you're not alone. My 6870 drops frames at times.

Yup, there are weird performance issues all over the place during the beta.

Is this just an ATI issue? I have 2 GTX 285's and play with nearly everything maxed out at 1920x1080, I think the lowest I've seen my FPS get is 45 in crowded areas during a rift.

The screen totally freezes up then 10 sec later it coms back. I see the white static too when it coms back. I just bought this card like 1.5 months ago.

Looks like I may have to cancel my Sub as Trion still hasnt resolved the issue.

It was an issue I saw a lot on the Forums right after the game launched. Rift is very poorly optimized, and it seems to heavily favor Nvidia cards.

I get Display Driver stopped responding over and over inside instances and sometimes just standing in Malufactory.
