So i need to make a choice between the 3 options in the title. I personally don't know what to choose, so i need some help from the pro's here :)

I thought about getting a 6970, but the 6950 would be able to handle everything at this time and adding another one later would be perfect.
Another fact is that the 6950 in CF scales extremely good + they aren't to expensive.

The last option is a single 6950 and wait for the HD7000 series end this year.

I have a 6950 2GB and is very powerful. Doubt I will need a second, and I game at 1920x1200.

And now the 1GB versions are very reasonably priced. They perform so well that it appears that 2gb isn't necessary just yet.

If I were buying now I'd get a 6950 1gb, and get another one later if I need it. Crossfire scaling is incredible on these. Not sure you would need a 2nd one though.

A lot depends on the resolution you use and if you plan on increasing that or using eyefinity.

running 2 6950's in CF, they are impressive and easy out run the 6990 and gtx580 in most situations, also managed to get them cheaper than those 2 cards......
i game 1920X1080 max settings and get flat 125fps (in black ops)
    id vote for CF 2 6950's :D
