As a matter of fact, TPU normally doesn't allow threads like this. Whoever wants to make a decision on one of these cards needs to look at reviews, features and price and come up with an answer. @ piotrekhc. Look at reviews, prices and come to your own decision on what GPU to buy. No one can give you a definitive answer on where you should spend your money. Your CPU is fine.

this would be why i like TPU compared to OCN. threads like this are very rare here and its helps keep away trolls and fanboy flame fests

just bought a gtx 580 ftw hydro copper 2

hi ...this is my first post to a forum ever,,so forgive me if i mess it up.
i got a case of the water cooling bug and just bought a gtx 580 ftw hydro copper 2,
i have my plan for loop design but were im stalled is barbs,,compression fittings..
i am going to use 120m rad ,res/pump .the graphscard is only thing in loop..
any ideas or advice would be great

Your best bet would be to create a new topic in the Overclocking & Cooling section: Overclocking & Cooling

Worse than a game that doesn't use up all the memory on even a 1GB card? I guess it could, but will it get to the point that is maxes out 1.25GB in the lifetime of these cards? Not likely.

By the time we see games that max out the memory on 1GB+ cards, the settings required to do so will make the games unplayable on the cards even if they had more memory.
