would the back plate touching the shroud cover of the sound card be A issues ?...

dont think it will.

asus 780 ti dcu2 rubs on the Asus ROG Xonar Phoebus (shroud)..

I can move the Xonar to a lower slot however the other 780ti fans it the back of the xonar + other issues...
