Like I was telling mrgenius thats my next change to the CPU. I dont have a monoblock, just a normal cpu block. let me know if its worth it. They are only like $30 from the ones iv seen so I guess it not bad for a test, but curious all the same.

Yeah i ordered mine from here, there is a US site, if it does fix the issue with monoblocks it be worth it, I was using a normal block before and my temps diffrences are around 15c which just show the monoblock doesn't have the correct pressure due to the VRMs, ill let you know how it turns out

Why not just get a die guard?

It's machined exactly to your core, + you already sealed it, just go block to die.

You didn't read my post at all did you? I'm using a monoblock and i don't plan on changing it so a die guard is out of the question.

Yeah there is a small chance you can crack the die, those frames do help but you still need to be careful.

Fore sure I remember direct die contact with 775. Already aware to take precautions, check clearance after application, dont crank down on cooler mount bracket. Realistically with direct die, you only need to apply enough pressure for the block itself to mount.

1.2 Volts at 4.5Ghz, but dont know whyt it boost to 4.6Ghz, in bios is 45x100, but it going from 4.5Ghz to 4.6Ghz sometimes.

Is delied too

Max temps was 70c on one core, with prime95.

I picked up a 2nd hand 7940x its only a month old so waiting for a delid tool and ill be putting a copper IHS on it, also super glue doesn't rip any layers off all the super glue does is keep the IHS in place because its sticking to metal it just pops off.

Your temps are pretty good, I need 1.244v for 4.6Ghz I use adaptive voltages with offsets, I use crappy RGB fans that come with my 500D so there not the best for rads, these temps get up there just because the coolant can cool down after a long period of stress testing.
