The words "can" and "rated" are 2 different things.

also you will have issue with CL7 at 1600 on AMD machines you can do CL 8 at 1600 and CL 7 at 1333

I'm living proof that there won't be issues at 1600 CAS 7. I've had 4 sticks of D9JNL's and they've all ran 1600 CAS 7 on my UD2H without any problems, in dual channel config of course.

Here's some reference as to what D9's do.

Fits had his D9JNM's as high (or higher) 2000, I believe freaksavior has a review somewhere on Newegg claiming his kit ran 2200.

win7 isn't much better than vista imo.. its basically a reskin with the new and (annoying) toolbar... a few improvements here n there but currently i prefer vista over 7..

also as a heads up its not a guarantee to unlock the 4th core.. as i have gotten 2 amd sets so far a 425 from newegg and unlocked with the bonus 6 mb of phenom l3 and a 440 from frys that couldn't unlock at all

After disabling UAC in Vista on all my computers, I found it no different than XP/7.

Of course I'm back to XP now since I'm in the middle of a desktop>laptop transition and I'm feeling pretty nostalgic.

Yeah I know that's why I got the X3 and not the X2 so at least its only 1 core
