I don't think I'd mind either to be honest, the 8700k seems to be a bit cheaper as I've seen some second hand ones going for the $250 mark in the USA.. The 8086k seems to be fetching crazy money and I'm not prepared to pay for it... It'll be in a rig that hardly gets used, so it just seems a bit of wasted cash..
intel shortages are putting them all in the crazy money league the Scan UK crazy money price for a new 8086 isnt that much more than a 8700K.. £450 as opposed to £420 i think..
