Hi, At the moment I'm running only one 8800GS.. But my friend has the 9600Gs.. and want to sell it.. so then i want to run both Cards in SLI.. coz it's basiclly the same card..? And then I'm sure the 9600's Bios would have more options.. fan speeds and voltages.. What u think?

youll have to either google it or ask someone on here who is an experienced bios editor, i have never done anything like it tbf. I could suggest, however, that you buy the 9 series, use that as your main card and use the 8 series then as a physx card?

It is possible to flash a 9600GSO BIOS to the 8800GS. You need to get the BIOS from the same manufacturer, and make sure the cards are actually identical.

It doesn't really add any more options, it gives the same fanspeed and voltage options on the 9600GSO as the 8800GS. They are essentially the same BIOS with the device ID changed.
