You'll most prob see no improvement going from 4gb to 8gb of ram but changing your 4gb of pc6400 to pc8500 is not a bad idea you'll be able to overclock higher & hit 1000+ fsb

IMHO and based on experience- the Phenom Is don't suffer from memory bandwidth. However, having 8GB will mean no page file is really used/needed.
Best to stick with what you got and wait till DDR3 becomes mainstream.

hmm, should i get 1066mhz 5-5-5-18 4GB and move 4GB 800mhz 5-5-5-18 to my htpc, or should i get 4GB 800mhz 4-4-3-15 in my PC and move the 4GB 800mhz 5-5-5-18 kit to htpc?
