how exactly do u install the fan tho? thats the thing that kinda bugs me out :p
I'll show you.

The fan screws into two plastic clips, which you clip to the cooler itself. It's quite study and there's rubber pads to prevent vibration noise.

The cooler will come with instructions as well. ;) That cooler has a nice design. You can mount the cooler without the fan on it which makes things much easier. Once mounted you can just clip the fan on.

It's a good cooler, and it's rather easy to install, and the mounting plate is cool because it is the only mount, that way you don't have a bunch of extra mounts to sort through for your socket/sitting around.

oh alright, sounds good... what temps are you getting even though ur CPU is dif. from mine?

that also works nice since i got a 120mm in the front blowing air strait to the CPU fan...

so that spin-Q one is a waste just get this and it will cool me nice?

also there are people saying there could be a second fan for extreme OCíng? how the hell do u fit a second fan onto that? :S

Right now, while crunching at 100%, and the CPU fan only running at 60% I'm getting 37*C. :D

On a good day my idle temp is 29-31*C (That's only with the fan at 40%)

The cooler comes with two more clips so you can mount a second fan in a push/pull configuration.

Yeah, but I'd recommend using MX-2 instead.

should be close considering that's a massive heatsink on vrm's, just stick with a normal size 120mm fan. it will fit don't sweat it

Those temps are fine man. When I got a 955 I was freaking out too. I even posted a thread on here about it. I agree. If you leave it at stock speeds then no worries. If you do even a mild OC you need a better cooler. If you do I say go with an H50. Great little cooler. I live in south Florida where the heat index is about 105f (40c) outside today and shes idling at 23c @ 3.91Ghz 1.47v

Just so you know, the stock fan is pretty much inaudible until you turn it over 70%. I intend on replacing mine soon with some Artic cooling F12's.

so wait the hyper 212 is not a good buy? lol
No, it's a great purchase. But the stock fan can be loud at higher RPM's. The heatsink itself is great. Also, make sure to get some decent thermal paste with it, if not, you could use the stock stuff. I also recommend you make sure you fill the "gaps" in between the heatpipes and the alloy block that holds them. Otherwise you could end up with heat "pockets". (I'm of course talking about the base of the cooler.)
