Shouldn't have anything to do with PCI-e 1.1 vs 2.0. I had that motherboard a while back and XP installed fine with my 9600GT. It sounds like the installation is corrupted. Is the CD clean and scratch free?Hi all..
first of all hi everybody, i just entered this forum.
I have a great problem trying to install XP 32bit on my pc:
- Intel core 2 duo - E7200
- mobo ASUS P5N-E SLI
- XpertVision 9600GT DDR3 PCI-e 2.0
- 2x1 GB DDR2 team 800Mhz
- HDs sAta and Ide
After installing this hw and finished the first part of installation (file copy from cd to hd)
the system asked for reboot and after that i always receive the same error (dump in blue screen)
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF789E63C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
I've flashed the latest (1201) bios but nothing changed.
i thought it was because of mobo has a pci-e 1.0 and GPU is Pci-e 2.0 but it seems to downscale the bus to 1.0 so it should work.
Someone can help please?
Thanks a lot guys
